artist's block

was just thinking the other day that artist's block is such an issue!! i think the problem - like writer's block - is that there's not nothing to paint or draw - there's too much...way too much. there are so many topics, images, concepts that i think they all seem to meld together and your mind becomes completely overwhelmed.

and once you've started something - if you get there - it's hard to fix mistakes, and you can't really change the direction in which you want to go.

it's been a bit of a weird few weeks full of ideas that don't quite seem right.

hah good to know - yeah my comp is pretty bad like that...stupid dial-up. i've only put up photos so far, but i do other stuff...just trying to find the time to take decents pictures and resize them etc etc

hi - i've been trying to look at your work and every time i try to get on it takes ages to load up - i havn't actually got to see anything yet - how big are your piks - cos that might be why it's slow
